The Weaver® Difference

The Rugged Reliability of the Micro-Trac® System

Double the Springs, Double the Precision

Available in both our Grand Slam® and Classic T-Series™, the Weaver® Micro-Trac™ four-point windage and elevation adjustment system is one of the most reliable and accurate in the world. Unlike most riflescopes which use just one leaf spring and the windage and elevation dials to make adjustments, our Micro-Trac system uses two compression springs and the windage and elevation dials. And the extra spring makes all the difference. This extra spring creates four points of contact for the ulitmate in rugged reliability… which is exactly what you want if your rifle ever gets banged around in a truck, abused by the airlines or dropped on the ground.

One - Screw vs. Two - Screws

With conventional one-spring systems, adjusting one screw too far can cause the spring to affect the adjustment of the other screw. Twist too much and you've just lost your accuracy. With Micro-Trac, the two springs are aligned directly across from the windage and elevation adjustments, so each adjustment can be made independently - and evenly - for pinpoint accuracy. The increased force bearing down from the second spring also helps hold zero 60% better than most premium scopes. Click adjustments remain consistent to a quarter minute of angle, and zero is maintained in a vise-like grip to 10,000 rounds from a .375 H&H magnum rifle. Our Micro-Trac adjustment sysytem is simply rugged performance that is unmatched by the competition.
