Step 1 – Measure the neck dimension with a caliper or micrometer.
Example: .295”
Step 2 – Subtract .002-.003” depending on desired neck tension.
Example: .295” - .002” = .293” Bushing Size
Step 3 – Add that size to your cart
This method allows approximately .001” of spring-back for proper neck tension.

Step 1 – Measure neck thickness with Vernier ball micrometer or caliper and multiply it by 2 for a product.
Example: .015” x 2 = .030”.
Step 2 – Add your bullet diameter to the previous product, then subtract .001” for the proper neck bushing size.
Example: .264” + .030” = .294”, -.001” = .293” Bushing Size
Step 3 – Add that size to your cart
This method allows for .001” of spring-back for proper neck tension.
